Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Frendict mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”) operated by Frendict (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. By using Frendict you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must not share your account or impersonate another person.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk for other users.
• You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion requests can be sent to support@frendict.app.

3. The Service

Frendict is a social football prediction experience. Features may include match predictions (1 · X · 2), virtual coins, streaks, medals, friend challenges, chat within challenges, and leaderboards. Features may change, be limited during beta/early access, or be discontinued without prior notice.

4. Virtual coins & rewards

Coins, medals, and similar items in Frendict are virtual only. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable outside the Service except as we expressly allow.

• Frendict is not a gambling, betting, or real-money wagering product. Challenges and coin transfers between users are entertainment mechanics within the app.
• Coin balances, payouts, streak rewards, and challenge settlements are calculated by our systems and are final, subject to correction of clear errors or fraud.
• We may adjust economy parameters (rewards, starting balances, thresholds) to keep the game fair and sustainable.

5. Predictions & match data

Predictions must be submitted before the relevant kickoff (or other cutoff we define). Once locked, a pick generally cannot be changed. Match results and fixture data may come from third-party providers; delays or corrections can occur. We may void, resettle, or exclude fixtures when data is wrong, matches are postponed/abandoned, or abuse is detected.

6. Challenges & community conduct

When you challenge friends or interact with other users, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse others
• Post illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• Spam, scam, or attempt to extract personal data from others
• Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, or manipulate rankings
• Circumvent security, rate limits, or access controls

We may remove content, reverse illegitimate gains, and suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Intellectual property

Frendict, its branding, UI, code, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Team names, logos, and league references remain the property of their respective owners and are used for informational purposes only. Frendict is not affiliated with or endorsed by those organizations unless stated otherwise.

8. Third-party services

The Service may link to or rely on third parties (app stores, analytics, notification providers, football data APIs). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party content or outages beyond our reasonable control.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that match data will always be complete or timely.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frendict and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, coins, rankings, goodwill, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim or (b) €50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms or the Service at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date (and, where appropriate, in-app notice). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — update before launch], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction shall have exclusive venue, except where consumer protection law gives you mandatory rights to sue in your home country.
